General Questions

Hi Sean, you mentioned the police has 3 years to charge someone who's driving without insurance. I cant find the reference anywhere

Canada
For this one we have to look to Ontario’s Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act. Section 2(10) is titled “Three-year limitation period” and states that proceedings may be commenced within three years for an offence under section 2(1), which covers an owner or lessee operating, causing or permitting an uninsured motor vehicle to be operated on a highway. Hope this helps and if you’ve got more questions you know where to find me. 👍
